No — Boa Bar never sells alcohol. We provide the service, skill, bartenders, and all bar equipment. We give you a detailed alcohol shopping list based on your event, or we can coordinate procurement for you. You purchase the alcohol, we make it exceptional.
We serve Washington DC, Maryland (Bethesda, Rockville, Silver Spring, Baltimore, and surrounding areas), and Virginia (Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Ashburn, McLean, and surrounding areas). If you're unsure whether we cover your area, contact us — we'll make it work.
We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance for private parties and 3–6 months for weddings. That said, we do accommodate last-minute bookings when our schedule allows. Contact us as early as possible to secure your date.
Yes. Boa Bar carries full liability insurance on every booking. We provide documentation to any venue that requires it — corporate spaces, wedding venues, private estates. Just let us know what's needed.
Mobile bartending starts at $600 for 1 bartender with up to 4 hours of service for smaller events. Final pricing depends on guest count, hours, location, and add-ons. Every proposal is fully itemized and transparent — no surprises.
Every service includes: professional uniformed bartenders, full setup and breakdown, all bar tools and equipment, craft syrups, and fresh garnishes. Ice is not included, but we provide a detailed shopping list. We do not include alcohol — see above.
Yes — we have several portable bar styles available including a classic wood bar, blush bar with built-in ice bins, and a white panel bar. Bar rentals are available as an add-on to any service. Pricing is custom based on your event.
Travel within the DMV core area is typically included. For events beyond a certain distance, a travel fee may apply. This is always stated clearly in your proposal before you commit to anything.
Our cocktail making classes work for groups of 10 to 100+. For groups larger than 30, we bring additional bartenders to ensure everyone gets a hands-on experience. Tell us your group size and we'll build the right format.
Guests make 3 cocktails each during the hands-on class, guided step by step by our bartender instructor. There's also a competition round where teams compete and guests vote. Recipe cards are included to take home.
We provide all non-alcoholic ingredients, tools, and equipment. You provide the alcohol based on our shopping list. This keeps the cost transparent and gives you full control of the spirits budget.
Absolutely. We can design classes around any theme — tropical, speakeasy, seasonal, brand-specific, or completely custom. Tell us your concept and we'll build a cocktail menu around it.
Our team arrives 60–90 minutes before your event start time to set up completely. We don't rush setup — everything is in place before your first guest arrives.
Yes. We break down the full bar setup and leave your space exactly as we found it. Cleanup is always included — you never have to touch bar equipment after we leave.
We understand life happens. Our cancellation and reschedule policy is outlined clearly in your contract before you sign. We work with clients as much as possible — contact us as early as you can if plans change.
Yes — every service includes a custom cocktail menu consultation. We design drinks around your preferences, theme, dietary restrictions, and flavor profiles. Your guests won't be drinking generic bar drinks.
